i have tried several times to install fodera core 1 on my laptop. i have 5G free disk space allocated for FC1 but once it's started copying files onto the disk a error msg pop up says 'a problem occured probably because you don't have enough disk space'. does anyone know what the problem is? regards beau

It fails when coping the install image to the HDD right? This is a DMA issue with some CD-ROM drives. We had this same issue here with a machine a while back. I can't remember the exact option you had to pass to the kernel and I can't remember we had to turn DMA on or off. But it was DMA and the CDROM drive not working together properly. Do a bugzilla hunt on bugzilla.redhat.com for the issue and you should find a solution. Either that or someone here will know the right option to pass.
