hmmmm. ITYM "Te Whanau Pūtahi" ;> (let's see if that survives mailman though...) The reason would be that it's Unicode, but the part's header reads: : Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" I'd imagine setting the charset to unicode would work, though I'm not exactly sure how the list is fed from the meeting announcements. It doesn't come out as "ū" because that's an HTML entity, which to anything that isn't expecting HTML (eg., a mail program displaying a plain-text message) is just plain ol' "ū". butting
