Personally, I didn't find any of the mentioned browsers very exciting, however, I stumbled across "sunflower" in the comments section: http://code.google.com/p/sunflower-fm/ Dual panel browser with multiple tabs per panel, you can run commands in a panel, pop up a terminal.
