Adobe Flash Remote Code Execution Flaw Exploited In the Wild

"Adobe has released an emergency patch for a critical vulnerability affecting Flash Player for Windows, Linux, and OS X, the exploitation of which can result in an attacker gaining remote control of the victims' systems. The flaw is being actively exploited in the wild, but apart from crediting its discovery to researchers Alexander Polyakov and Anton Ivanov of Kaspersky Labs, no details about the ongoing attack has been shared." -- source: http://it-beta.slashdot.org/story/14/02/05/1421229 Cheers, Peter -- Peter Reutemann, Dept. of Computer Science, University of Waikato, NZ http://www.cms.waikato.ac.nz/~fracpete/ Ph. +64 (7) 858-5174

LibreCAD V2.0 was released on 30 December 2013. A couple of bugs were found and fixed and it is now at release V2.0.2. Download information is here... http://librecad.org/cms/home.html LibreCAD is a 2D CAD drawing tool developed as a fork of QCad Community Edition (www.qcad.org). LibreCAD started as a project to build CAM capabilities into the community version of QCad for use with a Mechmate CNC router (...that's a router that cuts plywood). QCad CE was built around the outdated Qt3 library. The LibreCAD V2.0 release is a porting to the Qt4 library. The CAM capabilities have not yet been added to LibreCad. QCad continues to release free, open source community editions. You can download QCad V3.4.5 from here... http://www.qcad.org/en/qcad-downloads-trial Some discussion on LibreCAD vs. QCad can be found in this forum thread... http://forum.librecad.org/Reaction-to-the-new-QCAD-Community-Edition-td57081... cheers, Ian.
