WLUG Meeting is on monday
The WLUG meeting is on monday ---------------------------------------------------------------------- !!The Official Annual [WLUG] End of Year Barbeque! In accordance with the prophecy, our end of 2004 [BBQ] is at DaHoose, 3 Liston Crescent, Hillcrest (off Helena Road, by the Gate 1 entrance to Uni/Clyde St roundabout). If it's wet, the backup day is Friday the 10th. WLUG will provide salad, soft drinks, backyard cricket and entertainment. You will need to bring yourself, meat and alcohol should you desire any of these things. Looks like our robot is hard-coded to say "monday" for the 3-day reminder before meetings... but it is really this coming Saturday, 4th December. The Wiki webpage is http://www.wlug.org.nz/MeetingTopics.2004-12-04 - no time is yet listed though, can someone confirm a start time? John McPherson

"Showers becoming heavy and thundery." Backup date was Friday 10th December, we should probably look at that day instead. Then we can all go down to a smokefree pub afterwards! Craig

I was planning on postponing it sometime on Friday night or Saturday if we need to. Predicting the weather now seems silly as it's hard to guess what it's going to be like in 5 min let along 4 days at the moment! If we end up getting it on Saturday, start time would be 3.30 - 4pm, BBQ about 6.30, if not and we have to postpone until Friday 10th, start time would be 6pm with the BBQ about 7. Check the mailing list and/or the wiki on Saturday to check if we have postponed it. Cheers, Jamie
