I had a problem with DeVeDe "losing my sound track and replacing it with white noise. I thought it to be operator error but maybe not. Regards John

Devede works ok on the whole, but gets things really badly wrong sometimes. For example, one movie I mastered/burned had the soundtrack missing. Also, it doesn't let you name the titles.

Unfortunately, DVD mastering is one of the few remaining areas where Linux continues to cling to its old geekocratic reputation.

There's definitely room for a nice gui-based DVD author prog which allows simple use, yet gives control as needed.
