Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin are supposed to allow for completely anonymous financial transactions. Bitcoin is not meant for complete anonymous. History is all there and transparent so if you can link someone to their key you have their transaction history. If you wanted something more anonymous use something like zcash or Monero. cheers, william.

Yes, but you still don’t know who they are. Unless you have some other identifying info you can link to any of those transactions.
