Te Whare O Te Ata (the Fairfield community centre) has a group of four public-access machines that are not getting any younger. Does anybody have any machines they don’t need any more, that they could donate as (slightly) newer replacements? I think all of us who volunteer there are on this list, so I think you might as well respond to the list, at least to begin with. Then we can take it from there. Thanks for any help.

The university has a donation program: http://www.waikato.ac.nz/about/community/donations.shtml The specs listed there probably stem from the time the page was created... Lawrence (Adopting the top-posting convention) - we're upgrading computers at work, and we'll end up with a few redundant machines. Do you have any minimum specifications? Thanks for the offer. Currently I think we have dual-core 64-bit machines, not sure what CPU generation or year (anyone else want to chime in with the details?). Let’s assume the worst and say they’re 10 years old. So anything newer could be worth looking at. Cheers, Lawrence
