You do not need to install it as it will run from a boot disk, or in my case a boot CD.
Read your licence agreement again carefully, Doctor. Then perhaps visit http://www.linuxmafia.com/faq/Filesystems/ntfs.html from which comes the following quote: "Partition Magic is one solution -- except that Linux user groups cannot lawfully keep a copy on hand to use on visitors' machines, even if they're willing to spend the money. Advising them to buy a copy and come back is lawful, but not very appealing." Wayne

Qtparted is quite a quirky little PM clone, which of course part of YoperV2 (apt-rpm based) to be prerelased in a view days. It supports ntfs ext2,ext3 resizing and repartitioning. Andreas On Fri, 16 Apr 2004, Wayne Rooney wrote:

You got me thinking... so I had a look at the licence for my OEM version which makes no mention of the number of computers I can run it on, but can only install it on one. From the way I read it the DOS tools my be run, by me, on any PC as long as no more then ONE copy is being executed at any given time and I am not doing so for the purposes of business. The GUI version my only be installed on one PC and run only on that PC. I can see why LUGS my not do it as they are considered a business. Since it seems to be a bit of a problem then forget about it. I like the idea of finding a few spare drives to have on hand... At 00:38 16/04/2004, you wrote:
