Hello all I'm sorry to let you know that Dad passed away on the 12th January and I know many of you knew him. Over the years he enjoyed his time at WLUG going to many meetings, helping with Ubuntu install days etc. He was a strong believer in open source and converted hundreds of machines to Linux and other open source software such as Firefox, LibreOffice. Ian

Hi Ian My sincerest condolences from all of us here at WLUG. We very much enjoyed his contributions over the years and it was always fun talking to him about open source projects. You couldn't help but notice that he was all for open source, always trying something new, never afraid to tinker - very inspiring! A big loss for all of us. Please relay our condolences to your mother as well.
