“You must enable DRM to play some audio or video on this page.”

I have seen Firefox give me this message that I need to “enable DRM” (i.e. install support for Encrypted Media Extensions) when I visit certain pages. One site that is currently triggering this for me is Metservice <https://www.metservice.com/towns-cities/locations/hamilton>. Yet I can’t see anything on that page that I might be blocked from playing. There is a Video Forecast clip, but I seem to be able to play that OK. Anybody else get this message?

I do indeed, and same as you - it never seems to impair anything. I suspect I said "OK" to the prompt on Netflix once, but that's it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ E -------------------------------------------- Q: Why is this email five sentences or less? I just noticed this message, too. However, this only popped up, because I had NoScript disabled temporarily. When looking through the media on the site (Ctrl+I), I noticed a "blob" of type video with 0 by 0 pixels (see attached screenshot). Each time you refresh the page, it seems to get a new UUID.
