Just to add to the fun, part of Microsoft’s recommended fix for the “HiveNightmare” ACL bug <https://www.theregister.com/2021/07/22/microsoft_hivenightmare/> involves *deleting all backups* that were done by Volume Shadow Copy prior to the fix.
