I came across this in Linux User magazine. It supposed to be slightly more interactive and user friendly shell to Bash. sudo apt-get install fish then at the command line in bash, type fish (you might have to logout and login to make the fish shell available) The shell will change to the fish shell. The main difference I've noticed is the colours and that tab completion is a little more sophisticated. Here's the main website http://www.fishshell.org/ have fun.
