But alas, on all the Cisco courses I've been on (a couple of them led by instructors with CCIE) had Windows machines and were using Hyperterm. I've also seen to many people out in the field using Hyperterm. It's *very* sad...

Most Cisco engineers have a Windows machine. All Windows machines have Hyperterm. QED. You're right though, Hyperterm is shocking. Craig
