Apache 1.3.27, PHP 4.1.2 & RHEL 2.1

I've identified my problem with Apache crashing in response to HUP and USR1 signals. As suggested it appears to be PHP's fault. If I removed php from the equation the crashes go away. I've filed a bug with RedHat describing the problem. Hopefully they release an errata soon. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=132488 Regards -- Oliver Jones » Director » oliver(a)deeperdesign.com » +64 (21) 41 2238 Deeper Design Limited » +64 (7) 377 3328 » www.deeperdesign.com

I realise this. I had deleted my previous message and the reply so I couldn't. Regards -- Oliver Jones » Director » oliver(a)deeperdesign.com » +64 (21) 41 2238 Deeper Design Limited » +64 (7) 377 3328 » www.deeperdesign.com

You *could* pull an mbox with the message in question from the archive [1], although that is a lot of pain to go through. If the web readable archive actually showed message IDs somewhere, you could manually add an In-Reply-To header to your message -- alas. (There's a rant about web interfaces to mail/news services and their frequent lack of message ID exposition somewhere in there.. but that's for another time and place.) Nice idea. But do I have time for that? Noooo. Regards -- Oliver Jones » Director » oliver(a)deeperdesign.com » +64 (21) 41 2238 Deeper Design Limited » +64 (7) 377 3328 » www.deeperdesign.com

And after all, we use Outlook to read mail, which doesn't support threading. Craig

Seems like even web-based email is better than Outlook these days. Regards, -- Aristotle "If you can't laugh at yourself, you don't take life seriously enough."
