If anyone has the install disk(s) for SCO OpenServer, I would be very interested in getting hold of them. I'm trying to migrate someone from a legacy system to Linux and it would be very handy (almost essential!) to set up a mirror of their current server to work with.

I may be able to help out. We have a version of Sco lying around though I can't recall if it is OpenServer or not. It's no longer used and I believe we still have the install CDs. Send me a reminder on Thursday morning (when I am next due at work) and I will check it out for you. Regards Richard On Mon, 17 Jul 2006, zcat wrote:

I am still very interested in this .. even if it's not the same version or even the same product; if it lets me recreate the same partitioning, filesystem and MBR there's a good chance I can sort out the rest from existing backup tapes or tar files. I might write up the whole experience in a wiki article afterwards (assuming I survive it!) because it's a really great example of why you don't want your data locked up in closed binary formats.

Send me an address please. I'll send you the CDs. Once you have finished with them could you please return them to me. On Wed, 19 Jul 2006, zcat wrote:
