suggestion for upcoming meeting

Hi everyone With Canonical pulling out of Unity development, how about we showcase the various desktops that have been available for a long time and are *still* available at the next meeting (April 24th)? If you want to present one, then please reply to this list naming the desktop of your choice. Thanks. Cheers, Peter PS And stay safe with Cyclone Cook! The next 24 hours will be interesting... -- Peter Reutemann Dept. of Computer Science University of Waikato, NZ +64 (7) 858-5174 http://www.cms.waikato.ac.nz/~fracpete/ http://www.data-mining.co.nz/

Happy to do a lightning talk on lxde. MATE is also an excellent choice. I've used KDE and cinnamonin the past. KDE certainly has nice features out of the box. It's special effects are impressive. Cheers, William.
Thanks.
Cheers, Peter

I'm happy to demo MATE - vanilla and Mint-flavored ;-) Cheers, Peter -- Peter Reutemann Dept. of Computer Science University of Waikato, NZ +64 (7) 858-5174 http://www.cms.waikato.ac.nz/~fracpete/ http://www.data-mining.co.nz/
