Hiya, Just to introduce myself, I'm a expat Kiwi from Hamilton. I live and work in Stockholm Sweden with FOSS in a large RHEL environment. I'm also very involved in the FOSS community in Sweden. I'm back in Hamilton on Holiday and will come along to the fix it meeting tomorrow to show my face amongst the WLUG before we fly back next week. I've been luckily enough to get my mother to sew up a few soft toy Tuxes for me. And also a large on that I will use for Software Freedom Day 2010 and for other FOSS gatherings that I'm involved organizing. My mother is interested in sewing these Tuxes for the Linux community if there is any interest for them here. Please let me know if anybody is interested and keep it in mind as situations come up from time to time where tuxes really add that little bit extra to a FOSS event. Check out these pictures I just took of the two finished Tuxes. http://picasaweb.google.com/roger.sinel/KiwiTuxMadeInNewZealand?feat=directl... Looking forward to meeting some of you tomorrow. /roger -- Roger Sinel www.nordickiwi.com "The beginning of knowledge is the discovery of something we do not understand." Frank Herbert (1920 - 1986)

Those are pretty cool. What kind of price tag will they have? Liz 2010/2/5 Roger Sinel <rsinel(a)bredband.net>

Sorry John the beer is mine, just thought you guys might like the picture for WLUG. Your most welcome to talk to my mother directly about more Tuxes. I'll can give you her details of list. I'm getting her to make me a 70cm tall one for SFD Stockholm 2010 which I am organizing. I will take it back to Sweden with me and Stuff it there. I'm involved in the Swedish Linux Society and SLUG. And we like having Tuxes hanging around our events. /roger On Fri, Feb 5, 2010 at 6:55 PM, John Billings <john(a)nimhq.net> wrote:

Hi Liz, They are $80 each. I'll bring them along tomorrow so they won't feel lonely left at home. I'll be there from just after 10am. /roger On Fri, Feb 5, 2010 at 4:09 PM, Liz Quilty <liz(a)velofille.com> wrote:

WLUG brought one Tux from me today. Thanks for that. I also became a member of WLUG today. If anyone wants more info about ordering more Tuxes in the future feel free to contact me. I will also give my mother contact details to John. /roger On Sat, Feb 6, 2010 at 10:29 AM, Liz Quilty <liz(a)velofille.com> wrote:
