So, I just want to find out to whom is going to come what you would like to find out in addition to the following: How to Mod an XBOX: Brief. (Software and Hardware) Xbox and Linux Web/File/Media Server Distros Opensource Software and the XBOX Xbox Media Center + more Feel free to suggest any more then the following if you wish for myself to give a brief but informative rundown Cheers, Drew Broadley

I'll have to try to get that week off. maybe if we get the technical specs for using a usb flash drive converter so that I could make up a batch of adapters for any that want them, I recall reading about such a device being one option, If I made the adapters, could someone program the flash device ???? From memory the adapter makes the usb device act like a memory card. ..... sound right ???? would this help ?????? Drew Broadley wrote:

Would the XBOX with Linux be suitable as a dialup/firewall/NAT box in a home office setup? Does it have a serial port or some other way to connect a modem? Might be just the excuse I'm looking for to get one (and to come to meeting too). g -- Glenn Ramsey <glenn(a)componic.co.nz> 07 8627077 http://www.componic.co.nz

usb to serial adapter should work for this, after all those fancy connectors on the front are only usb ports in disguise Glenn Ramsey wrote:
