Hi Had a Dell. There is a Yahoo group that specializes in Linux on Dells, search there, can't remember what exactly the URL is. They have the answers as I had the same problem. The install went pretty good except no 3D, I was not allowed to change the screen resolution, eth0 and modem were not configured. Set up ran right up to intial logon then blank blue screened at the end of the linux startup routine I wonder if I am obliged to get an online update before I get Linux up?? If any one can help (in lay terms) please go right ahead.
