We regret to announce the resignation of Gian Perrone from the WLUG committee, effective immediately. A replacement member will not be sought as we are due to have an AGM in a couple of months. A couple of questions for our community.. - Are you interested in helping out on our advocacy display on September 16? We expect to have a stand with PCs, demos and giveaways running at Centreplace. If you are available, or want to help organise the event, please add your name to http://www.wlug.org.nz/MeetingTopics.2006-09-16. - If WLUG held Linux training, would you be interested in attending? What would you want to learn? Would you, or your employer, pay, especially if there was the possibility of gaining a certification at the end of it? We also think that Hamilton needs a Thursday Night Curry, and if you bug us enough, we might just book a Thursday for it! Craig
