Just to be clear; I think we will have a 'reasonable' mix of Linux and Windows computers. Mostly, don't be afraid to bring your computer along and participate just because it's running Windows and not Linux. The day is about Free software, and if you're running Windows there's still plenty of Free software you can run on top of that. We'll be passing out The OpenDisc, and are quite happy to help you find and install any other free software no matter what the platform.

Most of the PCs at SFD demonstrating Free Software will be running Linux. It would be good for the visitors, most of whom will be Windows users to be able to see software running on their familiar system. Most will want to try out Windows versions of FOSS on their PCs rather than taking the plunge and installing Linux, so if you can bring a Windows PC it will really contribute to the success of the day.
