cycling through windows of same application

Hi everyone Just learned something new by accident... ;-) Using "Alt+`" (the key above Tab), you can limit the cycling to the windows of that application, e.g., all Firefox or LibreOffice Writer/Calc windows in a workspace. Useful alternative to "Alt+Tab" which cycles through all Windows in a workspace.
From the looks of it, cycling through multiple terminal windows doesn't work. I presume, this is because they are different processes rather than child windows.
Tested on Linux Mint 19.1 MATE desktop. -- source: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1160167 Cheers, Peter -- Peter Reutemann Dept. of Computer Science University of Waikato, NZ +64 (7) 858-5174 http://www.cms.waikato.ac.nz/~fracpete/ http://www.data-mining.co.nz/

That depends on the app. In Konsole, if I use the “New Window” menu item, the new window belongs to the same instance, which mean I can drag tabs between the windows. If I start a new instance from the app menu, it won’t let me do that.
