
What about the ext2 filesystem? Keeps defragmentation to a minimum without the need for defragging. Long file names at the CLI level. Compare that with VFAT.
While this isn't really a 'linuxy' innovation, ReiserFS obviously is. So I guess we can chalk one up for Linux here.
What about Shared Objects better than Windows DLL files? Two libraries of different versions can be in RAM both at the same time.
yeah, except this is something that came from the BSD's.
