John, I know little of these things at the best of times and it's been a while since I tried Wine (it didn't work with the Windows program I wanted to run). All that said, I seem to remember that there was a Linux program called winecfg that came with Wine. The command you mentioned is one to the Linux program Wine to run the Windows program config.exe and, since you have no such Windows program, you're getting the error message. Can this be right? I suppose it won't hurt to try, if you haven't already solved the problem. Leslie
