Just a quick summary; 44 feedback forms filled in, and we gave away about 60 each of the OpenDisc and Ubuntu CDs, and I think 15? DVDs of Big Buck Bunny.
Really dissappointed that I didn't get to do the 'timelapse video' thing, Destiny took a few photos from up on the balcony where I had planned to put the video camera and it would have been really awesome, but the machine I had spare just wouldn't behave and I ran out of time to set things up.
Also a bit frustrated that we didn't get all the PB tech machines set up on Friday like I planned, but it ended up OK on the day.
And very happy that Nandor's presentation went so well, and that I got to talk to Nandor about FreeGeek!
Sorry, got distracted. The other thing I wanted to say (and I guess I should cc this to the list because not everyone is on the committee list; Big thanks to the Department of Computer Science at Waikato University who provided us with the venue, and also paid for the very large poster in the main library. Big thanks to the WAND group, and especially Jamie Curtis, who sorted out our network connection as well as a couple of switches and an access point at short notice. And a HUGE thanks to everyone who helped out on the day. I was really happy at how it all worked out. Photos and a write-up will be on the SFD wiki pretty soon.
