Hi - is that a PCMCIA card? For the internal mini-PCMCIA card that came with my laptop (AMILO - Fujitsu-Siemens 64bit also running on Ubuntu Edgy) I had to build the acer_acpi module to activate the internal aerial - might be a red herring, but you never know => http://www.archernar.co.uk/acer_acpi/acer_acpi_main.html
Cheers.
Thanks. No it is a PCI card for a desktop Seems I was a little dyslexic, It is a NP542 card (not 452) The spec sheet is here http://www.netcomm.com.au/Spec_Sheets/NP542_SpecSheet.pdf *David*
