Re: [wlug] wlug Digest, Vol 205, Issue 17

Thanks for the info, Lindsay, but I already use citylink as a tries & tested source. The problem is that xnet traffic does not count towards my cap, so any resources on the 'local network' is 'free' I've already put in a request to the sysadmin for ftp.wicks.co.nz, but he's indicated that he simply doesn't have the space. Uni's seem my best bet Thanks anyhow -J

Hi folks,
Couple of questions: 1. I'm on the WorldExchange/XNet network. Traffic local to the XN nw does not count towards my (75G) cap. Are there any Uni's or FTP mirors available for Ubuntu/Deb & other distro's on the XN new? 2. I live & work in Auckland City & travelling out to Waikato on a scooter is problematic, to say the least. Are there any other geek-meets closer to home?
Thanks
- Jaco
