The slot in my notebook is one of those 34 mm express slots. I haven't encountered them before this, the older PCMCIA cards wont fit (or doesn't look like they will).

Had a look on Tradme last night, didn't see any. Jaycar has them, but at $83.00, I can wait a week or three before picking one up. I still get plenty out of the Linux box, the only toy I haven't got on there is GIMP image software. I downloaded the binary but there is a whole bunch of dependencies I need to have first. Im patient, I can wait a wee while. Glenn.
