Never done it myself, but from what I've seen around the web is that people create screencasts. Creating a screencast consists of several steps: 1. capture the video 2. capture the audio 3. mix video and audio Some helpful links: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ScreencastTeam/RecordingScreencasts http://www.linux.com/archive/feature/60722 Cheers, Peter -- Peter Reutemann, Dept. of Computer Science, University of Waikato, NZ http://www.cs.waikato.ac.nz/~fracpete/ Ph. +64 (7) 858-5174

After you had a screencast of your presentation and converted it to some sort of video file, you could use this program to put it on a dvd: http://www.rastersoft.com/programas/devede.html I've never used it but looks fun. Best, John Peter Reutemann wrote:

It's trivially easy to drop a series of images into kino and generate a slideshow (only slightly harder if you want nice transitions, etc) and equally easy to dub a soundtrack onto it. And from there devede will turn it into a DVD iso image. I've used it lots. It is fun.

Hi John, I think some of the DVD authoring tools allow you to create a DVD slideshow from images. So if you don't need audio then that may be an easy way to do it, especially if there is an easy way to save your presentation as a series of images. Unfortunately it's been so long since I tried it that I can't remember the names of any of the tools. Glenn jaytee(a)clear.net.nz wrote:
