Nice, I was especially tickled by his admission that he likes to argue :). The other thing that struck me though was that he really has stepped back from core development, regardless of how willing he is to provide technical expertise to the linux community. That is especially striking when you consider how the kernel has changed in the last 5 years. He is certainly more than a figurehead, but he has taken the time to provide public representation very sucesssfully for the OSS and Linux community, maintaining a generally consistent stance.
