RE: [wlug] iHug / Wired Country

Well ive been with satlan for about two years now, maybe about 3 outages total. When I ring them (almost anytime too) instant friendly response and they can usually tell me what they think the prob is too. Setup: This includes installing linux on a box for you (if you wish) as a router/web server/firewall/whatever/the aerial, first months rent, fixed ip addr (telecom don't give that usually from what I see), ... And as I said before for me service ranks way up there, and I will pay just for that. I don't know what their boundries are sadly. Id suggest ringing them. Cheers... david -----Original Message----- From: Daniel Lawson [mailto:daniel(a)meta.net.nz] Sent: Tuesday, 14 September 2004 11:43 am Subject: Re: [wlug] iHug / Wired Country Joseph Gibbs wrote:
thats fine if one wants to pray $450 for setup... (according to their website)
And paying a lower setup is fine if you want to put up with connectivity and packet loss issues :) Daniel
