Hi all, I'm setting up a new Ubuntu 19.04LTS LAMP server in the next few months, I normally do it all myself, manage all the security myself etc, but I'm finding I don't have time and am looking for a reputable person or company to help me with initial setup, making sure everything is really secure, and be available for upgrades, security audits etc. My preference is a New Zealand based company in the hope that I will get a better quality service, easier communication etc, but will go for whatever's best for my employer Any recommendations either privately or via this list welcome

Please note that 19.04 was not a Long Term Support (LTS) release. For the most recent LTS release you need 18.04 which is now at version 18.04.3. Please review this web-page... http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/releases/18.04.3/release/ ... and you will see you can download the "Server" iso image file for the hardware platform that you have. I.e. AMD64, arm64, ppc64el, or s390x. I don't recollect if you are prompted during the server installation for specifically installing the LAMP suite of applications. If not, then after the server installation completes you could install "tasksel" ( $ sudo apt install tasksel ). When you run tasksel from the command line it will give you a DOS style window in which to select LAMP options. It will then install these LAMP products and their prerequisites. Refer to: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Tasksel FYI: The next LTS release of Ubuntu Server is scheduled for April 2020. i.e. Release 20.04. cheers, Ian.
