Hi I'm trying to set up a pop server using qmail and vpopmail on my gentoo box. I've never set up a mail server before so I followed the howto on the gentoo home page. After setting up qmail I sent test emails and was able to retrieve them with mutt, I then set up vpopmail as per the instructions and then tested using kmail and got the following error - Could not read file The server said: "Can't open the message file - it's gone!". The status bar says there are 11 messages and this number increases to correspond with the number of test emails i send, but i am unable to view the messages. Anyone got any ideas what could be up?? I have emailed the writer of the how to and will post any reply I get Troy
