Re: [wlug] Maverick Upgrade complete... - i have a strange bug

Let me know if you have had problem playing flash videos at all, I've had a fair few problems with it logging up. I have tried kde, gnome, kdm, gdm, straight X windows without anything, Brand new login with fresh profile etc and still getting the bug. Chrome has its own flash plugin which still has the problem, firefox with standard plugin also has the same bug. basically after about 2 mins it locks up, the active window is still usable (ie a konsole) , and mouse moves but can't click. I can use the keyboard to type but not to navigate alt+tab to other windows etc. I can get to tty1 and back no problems but again not change windows in the window manager. If anyone has got a similar problem, or a fix, let me know. Liz On 15 October 2010 17:14, Sandwalker <sandwalker(a)gmail.com> wrote:
As far as I can tell, the clean install worked flawlessly, and I can still switch between Windows and Maverick. Now I'm just trying to figure out how to get my HDD temp applet back into my panel.

Flash plays fine for me. I'm also using the latest preview version of the Flash plugin (I run the 64-bit version). FLVs also play fine locally. Sandy On 15/10/10 17:52, Liz Quilty wrote:

Heya, are you able to try playing several longish flash videos off youtube per chance? I noticed the new profile gave me significant less errors and hanging. I may also have to do a hardware/memory check also. Liz

I've played several videos of YouTube (and one from another site) with no problems. Sandy On 15/10/10 19:49, Liz Quilty wrote:
