The easiest I've found to do this is to use rpmbuild on the spec file, the problem is including your own patches and getting them in the right place without conflicts. The problem I was having was that my patch (LIDS) wasw conflicting with the redhat patches. Never actually tested if it would work. Otherwise there's a base kernel.org spec file available from somewhere but I'd have to find the link to it first in the large heap of miscellaneous links. Gerwin van de Steeg
