Goodo. I have a little stack of books here I'm sure someone will find interesting/entertaining. Some are a little out of date but most of the info is still good. One book in particular holds some sentimental value to me. It taught me to program. Ye old Mastering Borland C++ by Tom Swan. Obviously the Borland/DOS/Windows parts aren't much use to anyone anymore but the bulk of the book is parts 2 and 3 which will teach you how to program in ANSI C and on to basic C++ stuff.
