The BBC has created a miniature computer, the “Doctor Who HiFive Inventor”, aimed at young ’uns trying to learn programming <https://www.theregister.com/2020/11/19/bbc_doctor_who_sifive/>. This uses a RISC-V processor from SiFive, includes quite a range of I/O interfaces, and comes with lessons narrated by Jodie “Thirteenth Doctor” Whittaker. Pricing looks comparable to Raspberry-π-based products, too.
