Well, I have a BenQ/Acer (same thing) CDRW drive in my machine. Works fine. As far as Linux can tell it's just another generic IDE/ATAPI CD drive. I can't tell you how reliable they are though, since mine is somewhat old and doesn't get much of a work out (it's only a 24x speed). Edward On Mon, 2003-08-04 at 15:57, Glyn Webster wrote:
