Not sure whether there is even a maker scene in Hamilton at all. However, a friend pointed me to the following (slightly older) post: https://wiki.hackerspaces.org/Hamilton_New_Zealand The "Hamilton" listed on DSpace is the Canadian, unfortunately: http://dspace.org.nz/about/ Cheers, Peter -- Peter Reutemann Dept. of Computer Science University of Waikato, NZ +64 (7) 858-5174 http://www.cms.waikato.ac.nz/~fracpete/ http://www.data-mining.co.nz/

I'm planning to start up a Maker / Hackerspace in my Garage on Harbour Drv (Tauranga) until something more develops. I spent the past year touring US maker and hackerspaces in my RV (We parked for over a week at ctrlh.org in Portland). And am looking to setup some 3d printing, soldering stations etc. On Fri, May 6, 2016 at 1:35 PM, Peter Reutemann <fracpete(a)waikato.ac.nz> wrote:
