Hi All, I have been asked to build-up a couple of secondhand computers (for free) by my work colleagues. I have a couple of boxes and other peripherals but am in need of a main-board with processor and an optical drive (at least dvd read) If anyone is able to donate towards these projects please contact me. Secondary question in case I am overwhelmed with gear. Is there an E-Day in NZ this year?

Actually on a similar note, I have some boxes im donating to a couple of poorer familues, but need a couple monitors, nothin fancy, if anyone has any spare. Liz On 3 July 2010 15:22, John <jaytee(a)clear.net.nz> wrote:

Liz, I know of a company throwing away, all there old crt's out, there might be some still left, ill ask for you

Thanks, We only needed one monitor. We do need 2 boards though, one that will take a am2 processor, and the other that will take a socket 478 (P4 ?) We generally make up PC's, whack Linux on them, and give them away to kindys or friends who cant afford them. Currently on our list of donatees is a girl who goes to Cheerleading with my daughter, and a guy in CHCH. Liz On 3 July 2010 18:59, Ronnie Collinson <notthinking(a)gmail.com> wrote:

Sorta off-topic: We're moving house soon. I have 3x Compaq 1850R? Servers - were running, been in storage for a year or two, free to a good home. Quick specs: No drive cages, 1x Dual P-3 500MHz, 2x Dual P-3 550MHz. All have dual redundant PSU's. Single optical CD-ROM drive, + 1.44MB FDD. Cheers, Elroy.

Done! where is pickup? Cheers Andrew On Sun, Jul 4, 2010 at 10:12 PM, elroy <elroy(a)ihug.co.nz> wrote:
