Anyone got advice on the best Linux pda? looked at the yoper .. but it has an internal battery and not that much support and looks a bit mechanically delicate ... zaureus looks nice but has many incantations .. iPAQ is another option .. but pricey ... I'm looking for best price performance .. any advice apreciated .. there seems to be endless choises Thanks Stephen

Did you mean "PDA that runs Linux" or "PDA that is supported by Linux"? You can't go past a PalmOS device if you want to sync (especially with Gnome 2 and Evolution.) You can't really sync with an ipaq on Linux unfortunately, but you can get Linux running on one (and still not sync in the "Palm" style.) See www.handhelds.org (Look for Familiar, a linux distro for the ipaq.) Otherwise you can get a Linux powered device, but even then, they're not really supported to sync with a Linux groupware solution as far as I'm aware. Craig
