next meeting of lug topics

Saw some mention of Kali distro as a topic at next meeting. Not sure where this has gone, but no problem for me sharing the time as required. Will stick with the Android x-86 idea, and maybe dispense with Puppy developments if need be. In latest news the live CD of Android I downloaded boots on a Compaq laptop and appears somewhat usable on that machine.

Last few days were a bit hectic and I didn't get around to posting it just yet. But thanks for the reminder! :-) I confirmed it only this afternoon, that Baden will give a demo of Kali: http://www.meetup.com/WaikatoLinuxUsersGroup/events/219969705/ Cheers, Peter -- Peter Reutemann, Dept. of Computer Science, University of Waikato, NZ http://www.cms.waikato.ac.nz/~fracpete/ Ph. +64 (7) 858-5174

Excellent, really keen to hear about Kali, and Android sounds like a great topic too. I'll be there. Eric -------------------------------------------- Q: Why is this email five sentences or less?
