Software Freedom Day

Folks, The committee have been looking at what we can do to promote this event this year and have come up with some ideas but we need your input. What we are looking at is a public display at the library and also an event like we had in Centreplace last year, followed by an installfest. We have people on the committe who are willing to organise the library display and the installfest. However if we are to do an event like Centreplace we need some volunteers who are prepared to lead it. Committee members are prepared to help but want somebody to lead it. If this feels like you, then contact us. Please note that this is a reasonable amount of work to carry out as Craig Box will attest to from last year. My good mother works at the library and is even a Linux user herself. She is often in charge of arranging displays and the like. Let me know if you'd like me to find out if she can help. Regards, Bnonn On Thu, 2007-05-24 at 16:59 +1200, Ian McDonald wrote:
