I did this via a script that I've since lost to the sands of time. It never really worked out that great since I didn't do a great job of parsing troff. I remember John McPherson did a better job with a parser, but it still was woefully lacking. Updating the manpages in the wiki has always been troublesome as you need to go back and figure out which manpages have actually been edited and which haven't and preserve the edits (eg I've been through and tidied up and added to the documentation of most of section 2 of the man pages).
