Just saw this report <https://devclass.com/2021/12/02/jupyterhub-2/> on the new release of JupyterHub. This is the version of Jupyter designed to support multiuser deployments with proper access control. The new version supports role-based access control with delegation of admin responsibilities, so you can have group admins with control over their particular users but no privileges outside of that.
