I am having problems making Google earth behave on my computer, after downloading the program and what appears to be a successful install, when I click on the icon on the desktop, it crashes the desktop [KDE],tried it with gnome with same result. Using Mandriva 2007.1 on a Asus laptop and firefox browser. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hi
I had that problem with my wife's computer, Ubuntu Feisty, I installed the proprietary drivers and that cured it. Good luck

Were and how would I get these drivers or even check if they had been loaded. Thanks,
