Hi all. I have an Asus P5WDG2-WS-Pro, and am having trouble trying to install a version of Ubuntu I got from the last WLUG install meet - (This is the Feisty 7.04 Alternative CD I believe - will need to double-check this). Basically it boots from CD fine, but fails to recognise the CD-ROM drive - is it not recognising the IDE controller? I will try to sort out a dmesg from when I boot the 7.04 CD. The strange thing is that Dapper 6.06 Live CD boots from same CD-ROM, and happily installs from the same CD-ROM - any recommendations on things to try?
