Is NFS available for Win32 platforms?
BTW - not wanting to even THINK about starting a flame war, but what are
these "certain constraints"?
If we don't know, we can't help! :)

What about NFS exports from Windoze machine? Particulary one that can map
usernames on the Unix side (via a NIS server) to Windoze users on a
Windoze
domain controller and properly preserver permissions on both Unix and
Windoze sides.
And no doubt I'll get swamped with responses saying use Samba. I should
point out that I consider Samba to be a very much less than ideal solution
due to certain constraints it has. I would much prefer to avoid that
route. Actually (and I hope he's not reading this list) I wish our
Windoze
sys admin would install a decent OS on the rather nice server with raid
array he got for us. Too bad he crippled it with Microsloth.
Anyone tried Unix Service for Windoze on a Windoze machine? How do you
get
it to work if you don't have access to the primary domain controller?
Cheers
Michael
