Eclipse requires a Java virtual machine to run, but Taroon doesn't ship with one." http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,3959,1228480,00.asp While the article is short on information, it inspires me with hope that due to Red Hat Inc's new position on 'only OSS software in their distribution' that the entirety of RHEL 3 will fall under the GPL and it will be copyable for those who want the stable platform but don't want commercial support.
